  • Where are you located?

    We are located about 15 minutes from the heart of Bloomington, Illinois. We are close to highway 51 and about 5 minutes from the Downs exit and about 10 minutes from the Main Street exit off Interstate 74.

  • Does the rental include a photographer?

    No, Studio on 1675 is just the studio/property space. You will need to hire a photographer or someone to take your photos separately.

  • Where is the creek located?

    The creek can be found at the very back West end of our property. There are 3 access points, each offering a different look and feel. We provide a map for our renters for easily navigating our property!

  • Where is parking located for outdoor sessions?

    For greenhouse/outdoor sessions, parking will be located at the GREEN SHED, NOT at our home.

  • Do I have to be a photographer to book?

    No!!! Absolutely not! Anyone who wants to come out and take photos can come! Use a phone, bring a mom-tog, a boyfriend/husband, etc!

  • Can I arrive early or stay later than my booking time?

    The time you rent begins PROMPTLY at the time of your reservation and ends at PROMPTLY at the end time of your booking. The bookings are held back to back you need to account for be clean-up time so you are out of the space for the next renter. If you are thinking you might run over and there is not another booking directly after yours, you can stay as long as you have had direct communication with us to verify there is no one coming in after you and you will be billed afterwards. You can always text/call!

    Additional time will be charged accordingly.

  • Do you have heat in the greenhouse?

    We DO have heat for those cooler months and the sun will warm up the greenhouse as well.

  • What kind of lighting is in the studio?

    Right now, our studio uses strobe lighting and there is one LED wall that is meant to look like a window. We use the FJ 400 from Westcott and supply you with a trigger that will fit any camera except Sony —— Sony cameras will need an adapter, which we do no supply.

  • What if I don’t know how to use studio lighting?

    Don’t worry!!! If you have never used studio lighting, we can meet with you before your scheduled time and give you a walk through so you feel comfortable! We can send you a link to the set up we have so you can watch some YouTube videos as well! We’ve helped many people with success!

  • Do you supply props?

    YES! We have more props that we can count, many of them are one-of-a-kind and vintage.

  • When is the light the best for outdoor sessions?

    We love the dreamy golden hour sun, so usually about 1.5 hours before sunset is great time of day.

  • Can we book the studio and shoot outside during same booking?

    Yes, the studio is located on our private property and you are more than welcome to shoot outdoors as well! You will just need to book appropriately at the time of booking so we can make sure each space is ready for you!

  • Is there a limit on the amount of people in the studio?

    Yes, we limit your individual bookings to 8-9 people. The studio will comfortably fit up to 6 adults and 2-3 children.

  • Do you offer themed set ups?

    YES! We offer seasonal themed set ups in the greenhouse and will continue to put our creative minds to work for the property and studio!

  • Can I cancel my appointment?

    We do not offer cancellations or refunds, only rescheduling. You may reschedule your booking via your confirmation link up to 48 hours prior to your booking time. If your rental time is in 24 hours you must contact us directly. You may not receive credit if you are within the 24 hour time frame.

  • Do you allow pets in the studio?

    Pets are not allowed in the studio for allergy reasons. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Do you allow pets on the property?

    YES! Pets are allowed in the outside areas, but we ask that owners clean up after their animals. Leashes are HIGHLY recommended.

  • Do you offer studio and/or property tours?

    YES! We offer complimentary tours for new clients. Tours are based on availability and are booked by appointment only. Please contact us to book.
